Ronaldinho to sign for AC Milan

RONALDINHO transferred from FC Barcelona to AC Milan, the Italian club announced late Tuesday, ending several days of furious negotiations in which the Brazil playmaker appeared eager to avoid a move to Manchester City.

Inter transfer ‘depends’ on Lampard - Moratti

INTER Milan president Massimo Moratti claims it is now down to Frank Lampard whether he leaves Chelsea for the San Siro.

New Inter coach Jose Mourinho, Lampard’s former boss at Stamford Bridge, has made no secret of the fact he would like the England midfielder in his squad and club director Gabriele Oriali claims the Chelsea man wants to join the Italian champions this summer.

Nasri joins ‘amazing’ Gunners

ARSENAL’s new signing Samir Nasri feels he has all the qualities to fit right in with club’s culture of ‘amazing football’.

The Gunners finally completed what has been a protracted pursuit of the attack-minded midfielder from Marseille on what they describe as a ‘long-term contract’ for an undisclosed fee on Friday.

Pompey unveil £11 million striker Crouch

ENGLAND international Peter Crouch has completed his £11 million move to Portsmouth from Liverpool.

Crouch underwent a medical on Friday morning and signed a four-year contract before he was officially unveiled at a press conference.

Milan: It’s Ronnie or Adebayor

AC MilanAC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists the Italians will sign only one of Emmanuel Adebayor and Ronaldinho - which could spell good news for Manchester City.

The pair have been linked with switches to the San Siro this summer, with Galliani claiming Arsenal have sent him a letter saying they are willing to discuss a deal for Adebayor but remaining tight-lipped regarding Barcelona’s Ronaldinho.

However, the 64-year-old insists any deal for one would end interest in the other, with the possibility of two big-name new signings having a negative effect on the Rossoneri - and Adebayor, who scored 30 goals in 48 games for Arsenal last season, appears to be Galliani’s first choice. Atletico Madrid sign Dutch defender Heitinga

Atletico Madrid have signed Netherlands defender John Heitinga from Ajax on a five-year contract, the Primera Liga club confirmed on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, who can play at right back and centre back, will be presented at the Calderon on Thursday after having agreed a deal back in March when he said Atletico were paying his €10 million buyout clause.
